Mind GameA Poem by Jake StanceThey say the mind bends and twists in order to deal with the horrors of life... I think my mind has bent so much it snapped in two. Cancel out your mind's intentions,
Leave room for a life well lived.
Keep yourself cleansed from sinful thinking,
Make your mind your temple, and your body a tomb.
Suicide,
Death,
Murder.
Simplicity at it's best.
Imprison your needs,
and kill your wants.
Argue your point,
and get beat down by words.
Think too little,
And make bad decisions...
Think too much,
And you're trapped in your mind.
It takes over,
and you can't stop it.
And, oh, yes...
You will be scared.
It will be sure of that.
Analyze,
Examine,
Execute.
Make yourself useful,
Live as though you're free.
Keep your mind clear,
It's too late for me.

I don't care if you want to tell me that you don't like my poetry... Just try to be honest/suggestive about it. .. more.. |
