Straight BSA Poem by Jake StanceI hate the fact that I feel this way... Can't take away the pain. I realized something sitting with you today... I've never felt the same. We sit there staring into each others eyes And that's when It starts to play. The words going over in my head, I feel week and we drift away. You know it when you see it... There's no real way to hide it. You know I want you in my arms... Inside I start to die. But every time I stare into your eyes... I feel all week inside. Like you pulled something out of my chest, and you'll carry it for life. I hope that you read this in time to hear... How my tortured soul became so clear. I'll love you until the day I die... But if you don't that's what I fear. © 2009 Jake Stance |
