Keep Going On

A brief inspirational poem I wrote while in psychiatric care

I think what inspires me is,
The way the sun shines off the lake,
The way the breeze blows through the trees,
The way we as people get up everyday
And keep on going.
I think what inspires me is,
The way we can draw beauty from the dark,
The way we can take pleasure in simplicity,
The way we thrive in the dreasiest of times
And keep on going.
I think what inspires me is,
The strength in every single one of us,
The humility that grows inside us,
The emotions we all hold so close,
And the world we all live in
I think that's what inspires me
To keep on going.
