Light

I look towards a setting sun

mesmerized I gaze upon

the sinking ship of twilight

give way to an ocean of infinite night

How i'd like to be there

weightless from lack of care

sailing through the milky way

the particle of a light wave

I'd traverse the unknown

never thinking of the home

that i'd left behind

along with a concept of time

I would glide eternally

selfish thoughts impossible for me

as well as the reasons to mourn

and no mind to be torn
