Sweet Little One

A poem for my son <3

Soft pink cheeks

Tiny fingers tangled in my hair

Eyelashes fluttering drowsily

Your sweet breath on my skin

I gaze at you in the glow of the moon streaming in through the miniblinds

Nuzzled against me

Your tiny mouth tugging at my breast,

Your tiny existence tugging at my heart.

 

I can't believe you're mine.

 

I never knew I could love so much.
