If I die

Would grief suffice

To steal my soul

Sealed in ice

Or would the dandelions knock 

Asunder

Or the oceans tumble by

I'd rather

You invoke my rise.

deep and reflective ... i like this!! my own grief having died or the grief of those left behind ... not sufficient me thinks! ;) i enjoy the image of dandelions knocking together and the feeling of power in oceans tumbling ... just the right bit of wry humor in the closing ... yes ... just invoke me rise!!!! so thought provoking!! thanks for sharing Jane!

I enjoyed the poem. You asked and questions many things. I hope I become wildflowers or a dandelion field with the dust from my body. I believe in the old logic.
