The wee ones travel over hill and dale
Skipping among the grasses Trading favors to insects and plants Unbeknownst to the traveler who passes They giggle and play and sing a nice tune As the sun climbs over the skies Then the Moon Mother comes and shines her keen eye On the little ones' village she spies The Faery realm where we cannot see Our world hidden from them The two collide at a magical point At the birth of the Honeysuckle stem The base of the rainbow, in the Leprechaun's pot Where magic and wonder grows Is there really such a wondrous place? Only the lucky ones know
