Like a Bird

Just a little quick write. Something I had said to a friend of mine and he called me a poet for it.

I feel like a bird in a cage
Trapped here so far from the sky
All I want is to be set free
So I can open my wings and fly

I can relate to that, I too sometimes feel like a trapped bird, your poem expresses that feeling very well.
