Your life is gone

Wasted away by your own stupidity

You chose the wrong path

You chose death, not life

 

My pain is overwhelming

You left me alone

I can't take this much more

Why didn't I stop you?

 

You wanted me to be more like you

To make the same mistakes you chose to make

But I stood my ground

Unwilling to let you have your way

 

Now I'm running

Running away from my haunting guilt

I couldn't've stopped you

But I should've at least tried

 

You couldn't control the car

I should've been the one driving not you

You had too much to drink

I only had one beer

 

The wall came out of nowhere

You didn't see it until it was too late

I watched in horror as we got closer

But why you and not me?
