I decide to give him his chance
And just like all the rest
He turned and walked away
What am I doing wrong?
Why do they all run and hide?
Maybe a pound of make-up will help
Maybe showing off more skin will help
Maybe letting them use me will help
But none of it will
That's just what most girls think will help
But what good would becoming someone I'm not do me?
I'd rather be rejected for who I am than be used any day
