Forgiven But Not Forgotten

Wrote this in my sleep, which is really weird...But I guess it's better than actually sleepwalking.

I get that we all make mistakes

You act as though all he did was cheat on a math test

Not cheat on me

And break my heart

It was all lies from the start

Don't act blind, 

You saw it too

You knew our beginning

Was nothing but doomed

I get that he saved me

From the road I was taking

And, yes, I've forgiven him

For hurting me this way

But I can't just forget it

No, it's just not that simple
