" Deception of Love "

"

A quiet whisper from within,

I declare:

“I shall no longer seek love,”

“for I've kindled the flame of self-love.”


Perhaps!

this notion is but a self-deception.

Yet, the truth remains:

TO LOVE and BE LOVED

is an eternal gleam.
