There are missing parts
    inside of me

    carried away
    without sympathy

My life feels down
    lonely, and floppy

    like a chaotic jigsaw puzzle
    … can't you see?

The days will never be
    quite the same

    without those
    missing pieces to frame

Even with replacements

    that can be claimed

    they may not fit
    precisely as aimed
