A flame that burns,

Time may weave
  … silver through my hair,

But my heart's fire,

My mind… an artistry,
  … bright and bold,

Filled with dreams,

   … not yet grown cold.

Thoughts that dance,

   … and stories told,

A wealth of wisdom,

   … for the young and the old.

Though wrinkles crease,

   … and hair may thin,

My spirit remains,

   … forever within.

The fire that burns,

   … a guiding light,

Navigating a journey

   … through life's plight.

So let time do

   … its wrinkled deed,

My heart and mind

   … forever freed.

For no matter

   … the physical form,

My spirit remains,

   … forever aglow and warm.
