Remember

Remember

A Poem by Jason Shadows
"

Touch The Soul Of A Loved One.

"
"Can You Remember Them?
Can You Hear Their Voice Within Your Head?
Can You Even Picture Them In Your Eyes?
But Can You Still Love Them When Their Gone?

How Much Will It Take To Rewind To See Them Again?
How Much Love Did You Have For Them?
How Much Was It To Leave Them Alone And Lost?
But How Much Did You Scream At Them Before You Ran Away?

There Is A Time Here Where You Can See Them Again.
There Is A Place Where You Can Hold Them Once More.
There Is Also A Way To Reveal Where They Are.
But There Is Also A Way To Love Them Again.

Here Is A World Beyond Reality.
Here Is A World Where We Are Forever.
Here Are The Ones That Lost It All.
But In Here In This World Its Lonely.

Memories Of Them Smiling With You.
Memories Of Them Holding You When You Where Scared.
Memories Cost A One Way Ticket To See You Again.
But Memories Cost Everything To Touch You Again.

 Cry For Them.
 Cry With Them.
Cry To Remember Them Once More.
But Cry To Remember Them For All Of Eternity.

Will You Ever See Them Again? (Maybe One Day)
Will You Ever Hold Them Again To Tell Them You Love Them. (Not Today)
Will You Ever Remember Their Love For You? (Its Always In Your Heart)
But Will You Ever Be Free Just Like Them? (Its Up To You)

Remember This Is A Story....This Is Their Story. How Will You Remember Them?"

This is just Wow! I have just lost 2 very close and special people to me, in a very short period of time within the past couple months. And "coincidentally", was just speaking of one of them with my little sister. An unexpected, painful loss. Not to mention, just wrote a poem I was debating on publishing within here, pertaining to one of the losses that are VERY close to me. Since I do not believe in coinky dinks, I'd have to chalk this one up as a sign. So yes, I will debate no more and publish that poem up here in the Cafe. Thank you!

This poem really makes a person think. That is, if they have any conscience and heart at all. Because we never know what we have til it is all gone. Life is too short to bicker and worry about all the little insignificant things in life, when we should be embracing and appreciating the little things life gives us. Even when we fail to notice them. Great poem!!
