Hate Speech

Hate Speech

A Poem by Javeria

These eyes have witnessed
Magnitude of oppression,
By the supremacist who drag their bodies;
On the roads and spit on them so, that none
Can raise their voice against dehumanization.

These ears have heard
Enticing thought process,
All in the race to subjugate others
To break the bones of strong roots,
Like the fall of the greatest empires.

The sense of touch has come across
Wounds of derogatory remarks,
Leaded to different religious battles
Endure injuries of colonialism,
Rabble rousing against spots of corruption.

The sense of nose has smelled
Seek for acceptance from society,
Flags of hardships and sorrows revealed
When they pushed apart and gazed,
By the mocking group of hounds.

Alas! this tongue has also tasted
Bitterness coated with sugary touch,
Who talk about equality are actually;
An inside agents of brutality,
They are bubbles of hypocrisy,will burst soon.
