Lost Dreams, Stolen Memories

Felt robbed of something I didn't know could be taken.

You say you're free now,
That when I spoke I lied,
That it had never been,
Now he'll stay by your side.

 

You don't believe in what once was.
Has he fed you these lies?
Has he touched your heart with poison?
Has he blinded your eyes?

 

Now you're in his bondage.
Got a hold on you so fast.
I didn't think it could happen,
But now he's stolen the past.

I really enjoyed this poem, I loved the emotions in it. I really like "Has he touched your heart with poison?"
