As I remain all that exists of me I am my own universe As I represent myself as my own nation Lord Kitchener shows no hesitation as to say I need you
I need you I need you to fulfill my desire which rivals my basic need for air to breathe I do not know how But you've managed to become the spiraling centre of my universe Like gravity Compelling my weep, my glee and everything infatuated with everything I want even if it's not what I need
Tears trickling down my cheek Being brought to tears just by the image of you projected to my mind Without any doubt of your majesty
I'm oblivious I've been rendered speechless But that is a comic price to pay If it allows you to fall into my arms
This was very touching and emotional, and expressed the feeling of total and complete desire very well. I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to more of your work.
And on my poem, I meant no political message (I don't even really know what politics are yet), and so I hope you were not offended in any way.:)
Absolutely stunning vocabulary and images put to great use here. You make the writer seem so strong and majestic, yet show their vulnerability in love along for another.
"but that's a comic price to pay, if it allows you to fall into my arms." - this line, loved it! That is what love should be to me - but these days love is so shallow and based on even shallower needs. Brilliant write!
