Dialysis

Dialysis

A Poem by Just Jayren

Wondering if there’s any point in my body still breathing

Wondering if there’s any point of my name being muttered

Wondering if there’s any point as to why I still stand

I’m waiting for something I don’t actually believe in

I’m watching everything in peripheral vision trying to

figure out my own mass produced questions

I doubt will ever have meaning

I’m sorry for being a useless human being

I’m sorry for wasting the time I had, have and will posses

I’m sorry for looking at a face that’s seen better days whenever I

see my own reflection

I’m sorry for being me

Depression, Desperation this could be anyone dealing with life and its mental exhaustion

This kinda tugs at me. Like it's a cry for help, and I don't want anyone to feel that way because I've been there.

This is a pretty gloomy poem, but I can understand someone on dialysis thinking these thoughts.
