Surprised

I wrote this in May of 2000. If funny how relevant this is now as it was then. This is how we feel.

I feel ripple in the sea.

I think I feel ripples beneath me.

I feel like I'm  walking on unstable grounds. 

If I move to fast, I think I will sink.

If I move to slow, I would be lost not 

knowing what to do.

If I call for help, I may attract some 

unfriendly faces and get eaten alive.

But If I don't yell at all no one will 

know where I'm at.

Sometimes sh*t is real F*cked up, 

living while being black.

Sometimes frustration/emotion can paint a picture that a lot of ppl not by intention - can't understand. I hope iIwas able to create a nice canvas for ppl. Thank you for you so much for your words. Praise GOD....

Everybody has this thought every now and then.God created man and woman I don't recall a prefix in front of them,man and society has created them.Praise to God for creating us .I can feel your emotions in your poem nice work

Thanks again, yes all that you say is so true. It is difficult at times. I just have to keep moving in a positive light.
