Fear is essential to function

It adheres, it bonds itself to one's soul

Once learned it is unforgotten

Unforgiving when approched by choice

Has no remorse, cares not for a thing

The greatest deal breaker

Hiding away in subconscious thought

Or present in every waking moment

Sitting, lurking, deducting joy from ones being

A southern marching band with a muted drumline

.ie...there is no function

 

Functionless until befriended by the carrier

Until embraced with open arms

Holding tightly , to say the least, as if...

Ones greatest fear is to lose

The fear one has

Fear is essential to function

Control however, Is its life force.
