A Poem by J. Garcia
"

Examination of the end of a relationship...

"

There were words that should have been said

This social separation situation doesn’t sit well

To come and go, and be involved, here and there

Only seems like life’s paths lead to nowhere

To say some things aren’t meant to be

Doesn’t appeal to me, the way I feel and what I see

Two different things that only add up to impossibility

How could it be?

I’ll never be adept at change

The excitement of ducking and dodging

Sharing the likeness to things past,

That vastly remind me of new things

That only seems strange

Why can’t I step away from rear-view?

Escape the madness embracing destiny

Without the stigma that it’s all Déjà vu

It hasn’t happened before

Not to me, has a dream become reality

Or is it I’ve learned so well

From others errs that I accept them

As my own

How could that be?
