No Reason

A sad poem I wrote on the fly this morning :)

They say I don't have a reason to cry, my family is rich,

I have had a good life, no one's been a b***h,

My family is together, I have lots of friends,

I'm not a freak, my talent never ends,

I'm not really sick, I always wear a smile,

My grades are good, I go the extra mile.

But what if I said I don't cry for me?

I cry for my soul mate, who with, I'll never be.

Because they say, "He's too old for you, she's too young",

And though we tried to ignore them, the process had already begun.

No more bus rides, running my fingers through his hair,

No more track meets, smiling, "I love you, Claire.",

No more, now I sit here, writing to get by,

Because they are right, I have no reason to cry.

good but the word limit of lines should be equal
