Soulful Jihad

There's a light within us all

Sometimes small, sometimes bigger

We all need a little light in our heart

We all need something to hold on to

We are in this alone

Only if we want us to be

We can reach out to someone

We can reach back to another

I had a hole in my soul

One I felt like was going to become larger

With each passing year

I had a darkness in my soul

Until I found a little light

My wife, my son shone a little light

Deep into my soul
