Nothingness

The roads have become dark.

I can no longer see in front of me.

All around the cover of darkness has fallen.

Without sight, I grasp to the nothingness around me.

My hands grab at the open air.

The coldness begins to set in.

I'm chilled to the bone.

I begin to panic as I'm lost.

I've been lost before.

But now I can no longer see.

All around me is nothingness.

All around me is the cold of this world.
