. oh jeff ... i think you and i are pleading before the same God ... about the same things ... this is so beautiful ... i'm in tears ... but you know what ... while i wait for what God has in mind ... about whether or not my soul mate returns to my universe ... i just love him as much as i can ... from a distance ... and that sure does give me a little peace ... and the warmth of friends ...

there's always something more
to do,
in love and all the time,
another poem to write,
another aching heart to share pain,
another crusade to fight,
and unsung artist to celebrate
i know it's not much, my friend
and we can never thrive
but at least in this dead end
we can try and survive
