Now I sit here pondering

What do I do?

I seethe with anger

When I look at you

But we have a child

You see nothing wrong with your actions

So I can't begin to let go of the anger

One thing for sure

A love born thirteen years ago

Is dead

A friendship that we shared

Is impossible to have

There is no future

Except a tense stand-off

So honest..so much so..it must have been hard for you to put such emotions into words..but words are always a good medium for purging..let go of all the pain through words.

. my brother is a single parent ... we spent 9 years in court ... to retain custody of my nephew ... he's 13 now ... my brother has no interaction with my former sister-in-law now ... and hasn't for some time ... it was really tough initially ... you know what kills the most? ... that she would strut about as if nothing happened ... as if there was no difference between her (who was carrying on a clandestine affair with her unsuspecting husband's best buddy) and her husband ... my brother and her and my nephew and my brother's best buddy were all in the US ... after my brother left when he found out ... his best buddy and she started living together ... it lasted a couple of years i think ... then he went ahead and broke someone else's home too ... and married her ... my sister in law lives alone in india now ... when we found the 300 emails - our incontrovertible evidence ... and we had to bump into her ... it was the most humiliating and disgusting experience of our lives ... today, she's not even the most inconsequential person in our lives ... they were married on 13th october, 1994 ... don't ever punish yourself for how you feel, jeff ... lack of integrity is lack of integrity ... and always, always remember ... today is not the last day ... you have time ... to watch it all unravel ... all you've got to do is validate the good stuff ... and glow and glow and glow ... when we suffer and yet we glow ... we validate what ought to glow ... when we don't take care of ourselves and when we don't have a blast ... then we let darkness win ... you're doing great ... don't EVER punish yourself ...
