Life Persists

Just as the title says. Life always persists.

As I stare out into the infinite beyond

All around me is cold

The silence reminds me

Of the ones I've lost along the way

I was so afraid

I'd never be able to move on

But the sun will rise

The stars will shine

The darkness will pass

The light will return

Pain never stays forever

Love will flow again

This is a message of hope that some never allow to sweep over them.. there is at times suffering and darkness that seems insurmountable.. Thank you for reminding us that there will be a sunrise to illuminate the world again.. we just need to hang on a little longer.
