If I Could Speak With God

If I could touch God

Would I hold some of that power

If I could speak with God

Would I understand

The ebbs and flows of the world

Would God share with me

The big plan for humanity

Or would I get a blank stare

Or an explanation

That I would not understand

Could God's words

Be beyond my brain power

Beyond my comprehension
