Just When

A Poem by Pure Hope

This poem is 29 years old. Go figure.

Just when you think your life is over,
someone shows up.
Just in time to show you

that your life hasn't even started.

Just when you think there's no good in the world,

someone shows up.

Just radiating love and warmth

through your fatigued mind and soul.

Just when I was ready to give up,

you came along, touching my life.
I have found happiness, conquered pain.
I am living again in the radiance of your love.
