Escape!!

From the drama/mystery series of poems.. letter F for fugitive.

Running as far away as he could go,
from that acrid smelling cell;
He knew he could not do another day
living in that foreign hell.
Confused by the words of the policemen,
who had pulled him off the street.
Knew he didn't deserve the charges dealt,

still they chained his hands and feet.

But now air pungent with blooms filled his nose,

he kept running still unsure

of the direction he was now going.
A branded fate to endure,

a dangerous fugitive on the run.
his great escape turned grand tour.

After many miles ran for a week,

from that country the fugitive did sneak.
