A Sedoka ~Topic— Garden of Love:- Prompt-Poem:From Rumi’s Little Book of Love

"

‘’Would I think of garden, beloved,
with your face by my side?
Would I long for light, beloved,
when I am lit by the fire of your love?
They say sleep strengthens the mind
but does a lover need a mind?’’
~Rumi's Little Book of Love

My Completion

Orchids shed petals,

carpet path guiding our love;

leads me into devotion.

Wonders of your heart,

sweet nectar cannot compare,
your essence completes my soul.
