Explanation

an old prayer i said a long time ago

They are my special friends,

they encourage me throughout my day.

I would give anything for them,

and I would die for them.

 

But you my Lord are my one and only.

When I am down you touch and comfort me,

but when I am ultimately lost,

and I cannot feel your presence,

the ones who are close to my heart

carry your touch through them.

 

So I do not falter in my Faith,

I don't grow weary in whom is more important.

You have nothing to fear or to worry

because you know the plans

you have ahead for me.
