"Mother"

"Mother"

A Poem by JerichoHeart

Color my eyes
Anyway that you want
It's fine with my soul
As long as I get to make it home
You see, my mother told me to be a gentleman
With every shade of blue in sight
And maybe one day I'll be a gentleman
Dancing with pills in the sunlight
You were just a lie
Polluted streams are paradise
Pouring out of my heart
As long as I get to make it home
Mother, come take me home
