SummerA Poem by JerryA poem about my feeling of summer
I'm gazing out my window as I sip my tea,
and pondering the green of summer that I see. The clouds seem undecided if they should but stay, and fill the earth with their rain, or just go away. Some bees swarm around a budding mimmosa tree, as I gaze out my window at all that I see. The sun rising in the East, brightens up the day. As the wonder of summer holds me in its sway. I don't miss the winter, and its wintery blast, I'm just so thankful summer is here at last. I'm gazing out my window as I sip my tea, and pondering all the things summer means to me. © 2011 Jerry |
