Army of Destruction Ahead.

Army of Destruction Ahead.

A Poem by Jess Holden
"

A poem about pretending to be happy.

"
Your fiery words could kill anyone,
Your harsh intentions burn so much,
But I smile,
Just so you won’t know how much it hurts me.

How you can so freely talk about anyone and anything,
And never get punished,
Well I’m done taking this;
My army comes for you tomorrow,
With no peace in their mind,
And you’ll be scared.

You’ve got nothing.
Not an inch of rope to hang yourself with.
Not a lie you can’t tell.
Not a memory I can bring,
That doesn’t hurt.

I want a peace,
Or at least an explanation as to why,
Why are you making this so hard?

This can be easy,
Or hard,
It can end now,
Just stop.
