Mixed Emotions

 

All these feelings, mixed emotions

Crash into each other

Like multiple massive explosions

 

My eyes, once fixed on hope

Met Uncertainty

And now I’m trying to cope

 

I’m gasping for new breath

My thoughts are choking me

I feel this will be a sudden death

 

Gravity pulls at my lonesome heart

It tugs and it tosses

Into the fog it shoots like a dart

 

I see a marvelous wonder

Beneath the starry sky

Life is more than thunder

It’s more than the tears you cry

 

Look now into the distance

Do you see the ocean move

It holds your many tears

And your love it strives to prove

 

For shedding tears shows loyalty

Even in all the madness

It shows wisdom and diligence

Even in all the sadness

 

It shows excellent and praise

In the mist of trials face

And now you may embrace

God’s wonderful gift of grace

I love the flow of the writing! the emotions are very strong here, and we all feel crashed up sometimes. This poem is absolutely beautiful, and the image is very clear, I love the structure of it as well!
