Hope

When in this life you feel alone

And trouble comes your way

You can look to God and receive His hope

For He hears you when you pray

 

And every tear that ever falls

He holds there in His hand

Each sorrowful doubt that comes

He’ll sweep away and then ban

 

New mercy He offers this very moment

If only you will receive it now

He took the nails and took your place

He asks you to come and bow

 

Always will there be a place

For you to rest and pray

No matter what may be ahead

The LORD, in your heart, shall stay
