Writer's Block

Writer's Block

A Poem by J.R. Turner
"

Had to write a Sonnet for Creative Writing

"

I never seem to know what to write

My thoughts always jumbled and unclear

Refusing to write a single word out of spite

Not one silver lining is near

I’ve put the pen to paper, you see

Nothing but rubbish fills the line

I just want to release the worlds within me

To break from these chains that confine

For once I am free and the fog disappears

My stories will begin to flow

Stories I have slaved over and written for years

My characters you’ll come to know

Then after time, my stories will be done

My battle verse writer's block, I won
