A Secret I Can't Let Go

Had to write this for Creative Writing and it ended up dark and twist. I like how it turned out though.

Yes, I hold a secret that very few know
                    a dark, cold and dangerous one
a secret I can’t let go

I was young, with an innocent glow
                    when he called, I didn’t think to run
Yes, I hold a secret that very few know

I entered the room, for I knew where to go
                    He claimed it was just a little fun
a secret I can’t let go

He did what he wanted, though my protests did show
                    My innocence in his hands undone
Yes, I hold a secret that very few know

I’ve kept this inside, this serious blow
                     He’s like a demon I can never outrun
a secret I can’t let go

I hide my secrets like a trained little pro
                     you would never guess the damages he’s done
