This reminds me of what I used to believe the band "Nirvana" was origionally about. I don't know whether people share my opinios about a band being "about" something or whether the songs they write are simple individual pieces of music but I believe the concept applies to many parts of life from a philosophical aspect. Maybe your intention was not for the reader to read too deeply into this, however, this piece accomplishes doing just that in so few words, which is a mark of good writing, in my opinion. This is very Cloak and Dagger. Nice work.

i like how this poem speaks about the lack emotion that the mechanical has. it is a tool, a man-made object that seems so alien for its loss of warmth and mercy. perhaps i am projecting my own meaning but is that not the mission of art? i am an advocate of short poetry and this piece delivers. great job!
