When I Dream

a poem from my earlier days, not sure who it refers to anymore

When I dream

The walls start to bleed

And I awaken with a scream

Your love is all i need

But now i realize

That everything you said

They were only lies

To be happy I must be dead

Or so I thought

The hurt is unbearable

The pain i have fought

Strength I have found unbeatable

I have surpassed the pain

That you caused me

Now I have everything to gain

My heart is finally free
