Painful Truth

Life can hurt but sometimes you got to look at it for what it is even when you don't want to

You can either love me or hate me

But you will crave me like a drug

Some try run away from me like the plague

It won't change the fact that you need me

No matter how badly you wish to run away from me

I'll be the first to put you in you place

I'm the only reason you even have an ounce of humanity

Ill be the first one to put you in your place

So don't get so full of yourself 

I here to teach you a lesson, so listen well to what I have to say

Everything I do has a purpose

I am the reason you grow

I am the reason you learn

I am the reason you fight

I test your resolve

After all this world is not meant for the faint of heart

The world is a harsh cold cruel place

And if you can't handle me 

Then honey... the world will turn you to dust

So enough with the bitching and moaning

Suck it up buttercup

You. can get frustrated all you want

But I'm Never going away

So deal with it

Tough love is how I roll

But remember I'll never throw more at you then you can handle

If you think you had enough or it is enough

Your wrong

Your limits are always more than you think

So there is my one praise to you humans

Oh and head up

I'm coming for you ready or not

So be ready to Fight

Cause I'll be coming in swinging

There are some very strong and visual images in this poem, which works out great. Nice work. But the spelling in this piece is lacking.

This poem really seemed to evolve while reading it. It felt to be a lover speaking of what is to come after a broken relationship and severed ties. Well done!

This started out sounding like a scorned lover but ended up sounding more like a divine being. This makes sense to me because, in my personal belief system, there is sometimes no separation between the two.
