Love Lost

Love Lost

A Poem by ElizaB

Petals weep upon the sill,
For the love lost.
For the love still.
Line crossed
Within the hour
Life cost.
Love turned sour.
I cannot take back
Our love, this day.
I cannot look back,
As we walk away.

Very poignant and profound. And what a killer ending. Absolutely amazing! Well done!

Quite an emotionally driven piece. It feels like the pain of separation sparks a strange sensation of movement mixed with some regret. This is a piece of yours I won't soon forget. Great job!

Quiet sad but also calming piece of poetry. Very nicely craved flow is very relaxing.
