my change

I changed over the years
I did loose it a few times
I've shed a few tears
It helped to open my eyes

There's no happy ending
Just time to realize
Now is all that matters
Because time is running by
The petals of the flower
May not stay up through the night
I've learnt a lot from life
That's why I've got this smile

I've changed over the years
I've lost a few peers
I gave up hope on hope
I've lost a few friends
I thought I couldn't cope
I even settled for less

There's no happy ending
Just time to realize
Nothing lasts forever
Not even You and I
Let's admire the flower
And hope our seedlings thrive
And hope tomorrow's better
Nothing lasts forever
Not the darkest darkness
See I've learnt a lot from life
That's why I've got this smile.
