My best friend

I met you in the 7th grade,
A best friend I could never trade.
You picked me up when I was down,
Listen to my problems when no one was around.

You made the pain go away,
Showed me you were here to stay.
You helped me from losing control,
Filled my heart where there was a hole.

You stuck up for me and I for you,
Even with all the things we’ve been through.
You held my hand when things were tough,
Stuck by my side even when it got rough.

The s**t we’ve gotten into,
Was probably because of you.
But hell no I don’t regret,
Cause they were fun times I wont forget.


4 long years have passed,
Let’s make the rest of our lives last.
Cause no matter what I’ll stand by your side,
Screaming and holding you tight on this roller coaster ride.

My friend Fee wrote me a poem and I had to write her one back. Hers was better than mine. It's late, and I've had writers block for a while which is why I really don't like this one. Maybe I'll write a better version later.

I think this one is really great! I really gets into how u guys have been through a lot, and managed to still stick with each other! This has inspired me to try and write my own friendship poems. ;)
