Pain

inspired by my headache

Pain is all I feel

Pain is always real

It is something nobody can escape from

It is something that always follows us

In the shadows 

in the light

no matter where you are it will find you

until you want to end it

So why don`t you end the pain?

I will tell you why

you enjoy it

you hate it yet love it

Woooow, this poem is disturbing but still somehow beautiful. The last few verses definitely are impactful because they actually had me asking myself if I was self-destructive lol. Anyway, I can appreciate the question of whether people like to make themselves suffer, subconsciously or not (a valid question considering how much people love drama and violence (in the form of movies/shows/etc., so do they search it out in real life?)) and I love how the poem’s “voice” starts out acting as the victim but then condemns himself/herself in the last stanza – at least that’s what I get from it haha.
So, overall, although I’m no poet, I think your poem is very well written.

I love pain only because its a sign that I'm still alive....I forgot where I learned that from O.o someone told me that in the hospital but yeah, pain is tough and you explained it awesomely :) Great job! :D
