Twirling Hearts.

Twirling Hearts.

A Poem by JoJo Hallows

Spin, spin, Spiral, Spiral.
You in the air; I smell you.
All around me; encircle me.
You had me suspended in your capture.
You never told me about the come down.

I tried to use my love to weight you down, pull you to the ground with me.

Our skins like wax; easy to melt and quick to harden.

With an empty chest and lungs with no breath, it’s hard to say I love you. If you asked me to, I’d find a new life and stammer right on through.

So let’s lift each other up and spin, spin. Gripping only to your hand we spiral, spiral down.
