A desert without water

A desert without water

A Poem by Jobira
"

It's better to be sad than to hate.

"
In the desert, a flower never grows.
Although it always rains,
water never mires.
Therefore, a dark heart,
that is soiled with hate,
is like a desert;
it grows not love, but wretched seeds,
which bares fruit that savors bitter.

I love the reality of this poem, it speaks true as to how a dark heart can't bring much more than spread its misery. I know how that feels so I really enjoyed the imagery and how you put it into words :)
