It's always hard when the people you think should love you unconditionally hurt you the most.

Walking in your footsteps
I promised myself that I would never be like you
Everyday I try and everyday I fail
I hate that I care for you
I hate that the love I feel
Is not the same love you give to me
There is a lot of hurt and pain
Alot of unspoken truths
Alot of he said she said but never the truth
If only you would take responsibilities for your actions
Because I've accepted mine
I do things to get a reaction
Then what child doesn't
I crave attention love and understanding
But all I get is hate disappointment
I never hear you say "I'm proud of you"
All I know is that I can't make you love me.
And that is the truth.
